Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka Shotokan Karate Association founded and
establish in 1998. In our association there are 800 members. Containing
instructor’s office bearers, 25 Black Belters Adults & School Children under 18. We are Conducting class in 8
locations in Sri Lanka
and continues training sessions to
the Sri Lanka Army as well.
In 2008
September 21 we got our membership from United Karate Associations
International - Sri Lanka based in USA http://www.unitedkaicamp.com/
In 2007 we held the 1st international
karate championship successfully together with 5 countries. We issued
1000 certificate, 300 medals and 30 trophies for the national and
international participant
In 2008 we
had our 2ND International karate championship on
21ST December 2008
at the
Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium Colombo 13 together with the United Karate
Associations
International and karate Organizations in Sri
Lanka.
